The beautiful Ourika Valley, located in the Toubkal massif in the Atlas Mountains, is an ideal place to enjoy nature and discover the Berber communities of this region of Morocco.The valley is at its most beautiful from February to April, when cherry and almond trees blossom and mountain rivers swell with melting snow.The area is also home to Oukaïmeden (2,650 m), one of Morocco’s ski resorts and a pleasant summer destination.The beautiful Ourika Valley, located in the Atlas mountains in the Toubkal mazico. The maximum splendor of the valley occurs in the months of February to April, when cherry and almond trees bloom and the mountain rivers descend with fury, due to the melting of the snow accumulated during the winter. It is in this same area is one of the two ski resorts of Morocco, the Oukaïmeden station (2.650mts), being a good destination in the summer season, to spend a fresh day in the middle of nature.

MARRAKECH - OURIKA VALLEY

Pick up from your accommodation about 8:30 AM to leave direction to the Toubkal massif.

The Ourika Valley rises progressively to the first hills of the High Atlas where the typical small villages are located.

It is a pure place surrounded by nature where silence "is only disturbed" by the song of the birds, of the streams, In this excursion you can enjoy beautiful landscapes, small traditional villages and markets, as well as several trekking routes among which highlights the seven waterfalls. Ourika is also an excellent place to enjoy its markets and traditional souks much less tourist than those of Marrakech.

On the route you can also visit a house "typical of the area" and enjoy a great meal by the river or a good Moorish tea.
